0xEquity approached us to create a brand identity for their blockchain-powered platform that democratizes real estate investment through fractional ownership and DeFi, in partnership with Akhuwat Foundation and Al-Wathba Insurance. Akhuwat Foundation, a leading Pakistani microfinance organization providing interest-free loans and housing support, and Al-Wathba Insurance, a UAE-based insurance provider offering comprehensive coverage, joined forces to make real estate investment accessible to underserved communities.

The platform enables investors to purchase fractional ownership in high-quality real estate properties starting from just $10, combining traditional real estate returns with the liquidity and transparency of blockchain technology, while incorporating insurance protection and microfinance principles.

The Challenge

Making DeFi real estate investment approachable and trustworthy.

The collaboration between 0xEquity's DeFi platform, Akhuwat Foundation's microfinance expertise, and Al-Wathba Insurance's risk management solutions presented unique branding challenges. Traditional real estate investors needed to feel secure with their investments, while microfinance beneficiaries expected accessible and affordable options. The platform also needed to clearly communicate complex concepts like tokenization, fractional ownership, and yield farming across diverse audiences in Pakistan and the UAE.

Additionally, the brand needed to differentiate itself in a crowded fintech space while establishing credibility in both traditional finance, emerging DeFi markets, and social impact initiatives.

We developed a brand identity that bridges the gap between traditional finance, microfinance, and cutting-edge DeFi, incorporating elements from Akhuwat Foundation's community-focused approach and Al-Wathba Insurance's risk management expertise. Our approach focused on creating visual metaphors that made complex blockchain concepts accessible and trustworthy across diverse audiences.

  • Created a modular logo system representing fractional ownership, blockchain connectivity, and community empowerment
  • Developed a color palette combining financial trust (blues) with innovation (electric accents) and social impact warmth
  • Designed intuitive iconography for DeFi concepts like tokenization, yield farming, and insurance protection
